Terms of service
Last updated: 2026-11-04
These terms are an agreement between the shop that signs up ("you") and StackTrellis ("we") for the use of Trellis POS: the website, web app and Android app. By signing up you accept them on behalf of your shop.
1. The service
Trellis POS lets you record sales, stock, purchases, customer credit (udhaar), supplier payables, cash and related records for your shop. Features available to you depend on your plan. We may improve and change features over time; we will not remove a core feature you pay for without notice.
2. Your account
- You must give a working mobile number and keep your login details secret. You are responsible for what your staff do with the accounts you create for them.
- Your shop code identifies your shop in web addresses and at login. It can be changed later only through our support team.
- You must be legally able to run your business and use this service in Pakistan.
3. Free trial and subscription
- Every new shop starts with a free trial on the plan chosen at signup. No payment details are needed for the trial.
- After the trial, the plan is paid monthly or yearly at the price shown in the app. Yearly plans cost ten months' price for twelve months.
- Payments are made by JazzCash, EasyPaisa, bank transfer or cash to an authorised agent, and are confirmed by us. We may add online payment later.
- If a renewal is not paid, your shop gets a grace period with reminders, then becomes read-only: you can log in, view, print, export and back up, but cannot record new transactions until you pay. Paying returns your shop to normal straight away. We do not delete your data for non-payment.
- Plan prices may change; a new price applies from your next billing period after we tell you.
- Fees already paid are not refunded for a partly used period, unless the law requires it.
4. Your data
The records you enter belong to you. Each shop's data is kept in its own separate database. You can export it or download a full backup at any time. How we handle personal information is described in our privacy policy.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use Trellis POS to break the law, to keep records for goods you are not allowed to sell, to send messages to people who have not agreed to receive them, to try to access another shop's data, or to disrupt the service. We may suspend a shop that does, after warning you where possible.
6. Your books are your responsibility
Trellis POS is designed so that stock and money figures add up, and checks them every night. You remain responsible for the correctness of what you and your staff enter, for checking your cash and stock, and for your tax and legal obligations. Trellis POS is a record-keeping tool, not accounting or tax advice.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the service running at all times but cannot promise it will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or because of internet or power failures. The Android app can keep selling offline and sends the sales when the connection returns.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost business, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
9. Ending the agreement
You may stop using Trellis POS at any time. We may end or suspend the service for serious or repeated breach of these terms. When your account is closed we give you a full export of your data first, then delete it after a retention period we tell you about in advance.
10. Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms; we will tell you in the app about important changes before they apply. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Questions: support@stacktrellis.com.
